Raver Fishing (glow stick on a string) |
This prank requires a cylume aka glow stick, a fishing pole, a crowd at an event like Burning Man or a fair and darkness.
Once the cover of darkness has descended, take a cylume light stick and tie it to the end of fishing line with a rod and reel. When nobody is looking, cast the light stick out and wait for your first victim.
When they reach down to pick it up, reel them in!
You wouldn't believe how determined some folks are trying to get the stick! This prank was performed last year at Burning Man by Joey from the Burning Band. He comments that one guy chased down the light stick and finally caught it. He broke the line and threw it as far as he could! The people staging the prank were laughing so hard they nearly wet themselves.
